The First Coast Diversity Council’s (FCDC) meeting scheduled for March 17th will include a fireside chat with Hattie Hill along with an Open House showcasing the council’s various committees including the Education, Organizational Structure, Marketing and Community Engagement committees.Hattie Hill has over twenty-eight years experience as a businesswoman, author, professional speaker and international management consultant. She is regularly quoted in local and national publications such as The Wall Street Journal and USA Today on matters concerning human relations in corporate America. Come listen to Hill as she engages the FCDC members in a discussion on the future of diversity practitioners and how best to engage your senior leaders in courageous conversations around diversity and inclusion.
In addition, we will be sharing the FCDC’s strategic goals and answer any questions you may have. The Education Committee will be presenting the Diversity Roadmap for a Cultural Competence Journey which is the final product produced as a result of the “Roundtable Discussion on Best Practices” facilitated by committee members at our last meeting in FY09. This is a perfect opportunity to invite guests to attend and see what FCDC is all about while having an opportunity to listen to Hill on a critical diversity topic. Please reach out to your professional contacts and business partners and invite them to attend and learn about how their company could benefit from membership in the First Coast Diversity Council.
